A catchy little diddy I learned from a cartoon a few years back:
Whether the weather is cold,
or whether the weather is hot,
we'll weather the weather,
whatever the weather,
whether we like it or not.
Chance of storms today, so use your judgement. We'll do a group run in rain, but not in a thunderstorm. If you want to check because you aren't sure, you can text me after 5 at 315.440.0397.
Allow me to complain about San Diego weather while I'm at this today -- at no point in the last 3 weeks did the temperature in San Diego approach what we are having today. So, once again I'm going to whine about the weather in San Diego. You would think that in late May to early June you would get some beach weather out there. But I didn't. And you don't. It really isn't as nice there as I would picture it. So, it's nice to be back and get some summery weather in my life.
The run --
1/4 mile intervals? I have no idea how many people have been showing up the last 3 weeks and how many people have been doing the intervals, but I do know that 1/2 milers were scheduled for last week, so instead of going any longer, I'll revert back to 1/4 milers for this week. (I've been sick and not running lately, so I myself will probably just do a slow and steady 4-5 miler depending on who else makes it out today.)
Only 2 weeks until the corporate challenge! (I'm in trouble -- the travel killed my running and now I only have 2 weeks to attempt to salvage my running pace. Not a wise move on my part!)
