Running Out Of Daylight

Only Two weeks left of TRY for the year. Due to being back on Eastern Standard Time, we'll have to meet at 4:30 (start running at 4:35) for this week and next. I know most people cannot make it at that time, but its the only way to get the run in before dark.

A reminder of a couple upcoming events: (Links were provided 2 weeks ago):
The Jingle Bell Run (5k) at Long Branch Park on Sunday, November 21st. FYI - Lockheed Martin did not sponsor the team last year (for whatever reason) and therefore the previous organizer is not putting the team together. (And I agree, without the funding, why bother?) I still plan to run it though. Please let me know if there is interest and maybe I'll sign up a TRY team just for the fun of it. (If a few of you are doing it, that is.)
Some sort of walking night with dogs included at Lights on the Lake. (Tuesday night November 23rd.)

And actually, I didn't mention the "Lights on the Lake Stroll" on Monday, November 22nd. Due to a bowling league conflict I will be running that night from 8 until 9, doing the 5 mile out-and-back at a comfortable group pace. If you want to join in, please let me know and I'll coordinate with you. (It'll be as simple as meeting at the Wegman's playground end around 7:50ish.)

John put this in the comments -- for those who haven't heard there is the "Empire State Marathon and Half Marathon" being held in Syracuse next year on Sunday, October 16th. Thanks John.
